Our store has been in continuous operation since 1833, and under current ownership since 1977. Customers and visitors describe us as one of the last old-fashioned hardware stores and are amazed at the breadth and depth of our selection of hardware and hearth products.

Our Building's History?
We do business out of a beautiful 1832 vintage Greek revival style building. Our building is three stories high, and constructed entirely of brick and handhewn beams. The structure is poised high above the Sugar River and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Buildings

Elaini's Greek Cuisine Take Out & Catering has been serving up greek cuisine to the Claremont area for one year. Always made fresh and in house, offering authentic recipes passed down through the generations. Try one of our specialty dishes, like Spanakopita, or one of our tasty wraps.
